MUSIC LESSONS | REHEARSAL SPACE
We strive to provide a comfortable space at an affordable rate for highly skilled musicians to provide music lessons to music enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
When lessons aren't in progress, Sara's Place is available as a rehearsal space for individual and small ensemble practice (max of 3 musicians fit comfortably).
We are a single room music studio that features a Steinway grand piano (Model L) with a warm sound. The studio is attached to a private residence but has a separate entrance as well as a dedicated bathroom and patio space.
OUR INSPIRATION
Sara's Place is inspired by and in honor of Sara Hopkins Beene. Sara was a pianist who was devoted to her students in Los Alamos, NM for over 30 years. She also loved to accompany other musicians. Her greatest joy was accompanying the Sangre de Cristo Chorale over multiple decades.
The studio is attached to the residence of Mark (Sara's son) and his wife Lori. They are not music educators themselves but want to support those who are.
