Jennifer Shinyoung Ju is a Korean-American pianist and dedicated piano educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Praised by the Times Herald Record as “a young and immensely talented pianist” whose performances demonstrate both artistry and technical brilliance, she has performed for audiences throughout the United States and received numerous prestigious awards in both Korea and America.
Her competition honors include First Prize in the ASU Concerto Competition, Grand Junction Symphony Young Artists Competition, and the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition at PianoSummer in New York, National Society of Arts and Letters Arizona Chapter Award in the Bösendorfer USASU International Piano Competition, Tempe, Arizona, along with many distinguished national piano competitions in Korea.
Jennifer is passionate about helping students grow not only in piano performance, but also in confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music. She is known for creating a warm, encouraging, and structured learning environment where lessons are thoughtfully tailored to each student’s individual level and goals.
Jennifer currently offers Sunday lessons in Tempe at Sara’s Studio and weekday lessons in Peoria through her private studio, Ju Piano Studio. She is also an Arizona ESA-approved vendor for piano instruction. Equipped with two grand pianos, including a Steinway, her Peoria studio provides students with a high-quality musical experience from the very beginning. She enjoys working with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced pianists.
